Texas Atascadero Fences was founded in 2017 with a straightforward goal: build fences that hold up in the real conditions of the Central Coast and treat customers the way neighbors should treat each other. The company started because the founder had seen what happens when contractors cut corners on post depth or ignore the expansive clay soils that run through much of Atascadero - fences that look fine in April and lean by November.
Over the years, we have worked on properties all across Atascadero and the surrounding communities - from older ranch-style homes near downtown and Atascadero Lake Park to larger rural parcels on the hillsides east of the 101. We have learned what the soil does, what the seasonal cycle of hot summers and wet winters does to different fence materials, and what local HOAs actually care about. That experience shapes every project we take on.
We are a small, owner-operated company. When you call, you talk to someone who has been on job sites in this area for years - not a call center. We keep our crew manageable so every job gets done carefully, and we only take on work we know we can do well. We serve 12 communities across San Luis Obispo County, with Atascadero as our home base.
A fence that starts leaning after the first rainy season is not acceptable. We build to last, and when something is not right, we fix it without excuses.
From the clay soils common in Atascadero neighborhoods to HOA rules in local subdivisions, we factor in the real conditions of the Central Coast on every project.
We tell you what the work involves, what it costs, and what to expect before we start. No surprises, no scope creep, no upselling on things you do not need.
We show up when we say we will, keep your yard protected during the job, and leave the site clean when we are done.
Texas Atascadero Fences is a state-licensed contractor, as required by the California Contractors State License Board for any project valued at $500 or more. You can verify our license on the CSLB website before we ever set foot on your property.
We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage on every job we take. Ask for proof of insurance at any time - we keep it current and have no problem sharing it.
We have been building and repairing fences across the Central Coast since 2017. That experience means we have worked in the full range of Atascadero property types, soil conditions, and neighborhood HOA situations.
